PatientZero ist aber Blödsinn was ich geschrieben habe. Habe mir jetzt extra das Dokument angeschaut und, wenn ich es richtig verstanden habe, kann Österreich nur auf ein nicht Europäisches Land aus Topf 1 treffen (was sehr geil wäre).
Kernaussagen:
Due to the high number of UEFA teams (16, including four placeholders for playoff winners), exactly four groups will contain two UEFA teams, while the remaining eight groups will have one UEFA team each.”
For Pots 2, 3 and 4, teams will be drawn and allocated to groups according to predefined positions to ensure compliance with the confederation restrictions, including the UEFA limit of no more than two teams per group.”
“A computer system will automatically assign each drawn team to the first available group position that does not violate the rules (e.g., confederation clashes or UEFA maximums). If a conflict arises, the team is redirected to the next suitable group in alphabetical order.“
Daraus ergibt sich folgendes:
• 4 Gruppen bekommen 2 UEFA-Teams
• 8 Gruppen bekommen nur 1 UEFA-Team
In Topf 1 sitzen 7 UEFA-Teams (Spanien, Frankreich, England, Portugal, Niederlande, Belgien, Deutschland).
Diese 7 Teams sind bereits als Gruppenköpfe fix in 7 Gruppen.
Wenn jetzt auch nur ein einziges UEFA-Team aus Topf 2 (z. B. eben Österreich) in eine dieser 7 Gruppen käme, wäre in dieser Gruppe bereits UEFA-Team Nr. 2 drin, d.h. diese Gruppe dürfte dann KEIN weiteres UEFA-Team mehr bekommen (weder aus Topf 3 noch aus Topf 4).
ABER: Es gibt insgesamt 9 weitere UEFA-Teams, die noch untergebracht werden müssen
(3 aus Topf 2 + 2 aus Topf 3 + 4 Play-off-Gewinner aus Topf 4).
Wenn aber schon eine der 7 UEFA-Topf-1-Gruppen durch ein Topf-2-UEFA-Team blockiert wird, dann reicht der Platz hinten nicht mehr, um genau 4 Gruppen mit 2 UEFA-Teams zu bilden, dh wenn mich meine Logik nicht im Stich lässt, kann Ö ( und die anderen europ. Vereine aus Topf 2) also auf kein Spanien, Deutschland etc. treffen 🙂
