Enock Mwepu’s steady rise has often gone under the radar. But the 22 year old midfielder is developing into one of the most exciting midfielders in Europe.

Even though the Salzburg scouts were impressed by Enock there was also some initial doubts.

Celta Vigo were particularly interested.

‘I turned down their offer as well, because I wanted Enock to be managed by Fred (Kanoute) like Patson. Then there was interest from Russia. An agent told me we could get £1 million for him, but I told him no. I knew Russia was not the right place for him.

‘Some Sheikh called me from Qatar after the Africa Cup asking about Enock, they told me they would pay anything for him but I wasn’t interested in the money.’

        Chriti12 das hoffe ich doch. Nicht weil ich ihn loswerden will. Aber so ein Angebot ist für alle ein Gewinn und Mwepu ist lange da und kann von mir aus gerne Wechsel.

              Lieber direkt in die PL als nach Deutschland. Von daher ja zum Verkauf. Und er war jetzt relativ lange hier.

                Mwepu ist mir sehr sympathisch und kann in guter Form extrem wichtig für die Mannschaft sein. Dennoch würde ich Reisende nicht aufhalten, wenn die Entschädigung für Salzburg dementsprechend ausfällt.
                Laut Quelle sind ja u.a. auch Sabitzer und Bissouma noch im Verteiler. Die 2 sind doch deutlich etablierter als Mwepu (auch wenn Sabi eher nicht im Winter wechseln wird). Also schau ma mal.

                Also wenn das Gerücht + Summe annähernd stimmt wäre das ein Hammer. Dann bitte verkaufen auch wenn wir Mwepu sportlich gesehen auf alle Fälle brauchen würden im Frühjahr. Aber so ein Angebot würdest für ihn wahrscheinlich nicht mehr kriegen vor allem da seine Form im Herbst ja teilweise nicht so prickelnd war.

                Ich stell jetzt nur mal die These in den Raum ob Tottenham nicht etwas zu groß wäre für Mwepu? Zählt ja inzwischen zu den Topvereinen Englands und die Konkurrenz im Team ist heftig.
