Botafogo gewinnt das Finale der Copa Libertadores gegen Atletico Mineiro trotz fast 90-minütiger Unterzahl und komplettiert somit das Teilnehmerfeld der Klub-WM. Am Donnerstag erfahren wir dann, von welchen Teams wir uns im kommenden Sommer abwatschen lassen dürfen.

Am Donnerstag um 19 Uhr werden die Gruppen für die Klub-Weltmeisterschaft ausgelost. Wir werden aus Topf 2 gezogen.

    Forsti37 Ich würde davon ausgehen, dass, abgesehen von den Europäern, nur eine Mannschaft pro Kontinent in eine Gruppe gelost werden darf.

        Salzburg
        Ulsan HD
        Auckland City

        Die Auslosung ist übrigens schon übermorgen.

        Da in den USA, würd ich gern gegen die Flamingos aus Miami spielen, oder den Seattle Sounders.
        Südamerikaner oder Mexikaner würden mich auch reizen.

          Folgende Gruppe wäre irgendwie lustig:
          Fluminense - 16. der brasilianischen Liga
          Salzburg - 7. der österreichischen Liga
          Wydad Casablanca - 5. der marokkanischen Liga
          Auckland City - Amateurverein aus Neuseeland

                Plumbs Hab eh “abgesehen von den Europäern” geschrieben. Da lässt es sich ja nicht verhindern, dass es vier Gruppen mit zwei europäischen Vertretern geben wird.

                  Draw constraints – snapshot

                  Several constraints will be implemented
                  throughout the draw, including the general principle that no group can feature more than one team from the same confederation. This applies to all confederations except UEFA (Europe), which will be represented by 12 clubs at the tournament. Therefore, four of the eight groups will feature two European clubs.

                  A paired seeding principle based on the confederation rankings will be applied to the teams of pot 1 when allocating their respective groups.

                  Other constraints will dictate that clubs from the same member association cannot be grouped together and all clubs from pot 1 will be allocated to the first position of the group into which they are drawn.

                  Additionally, for scheduling purposes, both clubs from the USA – Inter Miami CF and Seattle Sounders FC – will be automatically allocated to fourth position in groups A and B respectively. Inter Miami CF will play in the opening match of the tournament at Hard Rock Stadium, Miami, while the Sounders will open their campaign at Lumen Field, Seattle, soon afterwards.

                  Das Schlimme ist halt, dass sich angesichts unserer Hundsform momentan, sich die Vorfreude auf die Klub WM bei mir in Grenzen hält.
