Hey guys. I haven't been here in a while but I was following Salzburg. You are doing quite good in the Bundesliga, feel sorry for EL ending early though. I wish you all the best of luck for the remaining matches of the season.
As for Szobo it's been quiet ever since the change was made. He hasn't even started team training yet due to this mysterious injury. No exact information had been given about him but the latest news are saying that he won't be able to play in March either... I cannot really believe that he was playing with a serious injury in Salzburg already as he was playing on a quite high level throughout. I suppose something else is going on behind the scenes. I wasn't a fan of him going to Leipzig and all this just strenghtens my feelings in the negative direction. Hope he'll be able to overcome this difficult period.
Axelsim I suppose something else is going on behind the scenes.
Can you make some educated guesses? What Kind of problems could He be facing?

@Axelsim My educated guess: Nagelsmann is not the greatest fan of Salzburg players. I really don't know, why Domi went there in the first place.

Phistar OK, i'm not quite Sure if i can follow, cause Sabitzer was named Captain by Nagelsmann, Laimer was a Cornerstone until his injury and even Haidara blossomed under him, so i'm Not really following here but that's Just my Point of View.
HunglikeHodor
Well, I don't really wanna guess, but all bad theories would just come to my mind. The situation is what it is now. I believe that Leipzig didn't really need Domi right now so he might be part of a long term project. Sabitzer most likely will leave next summer, so he'll get his chances hopefully. I was very sceptical about this change though and this feeling just keeps on getting stronger. On the other hand I was never a fan of that team but that is just my personal problem. If all this sh*t gets settled I think there is no way Domi wouldn't find a place in this team. Otherwise I cast a lot of doubts on the success of the negotiations between him/his agency and Leipzig...

Yeah, but they were already there when Nagelsmann came. Hwang is being shuffled away and Szobo seems to get the same treatment.
How many Trainings did Szobo have under Nagelsmann? No Surprise that he has not played yet even if he is fully fit aigain

He hasn't even trained with the team yet due to his injury. As far as I know he spent the whole January in Salzburg for rehabilitation, then he returned to Leipzig at the beginning of February but not much information was given since then. First they said it should be an adductor problem, then it became the inflammation of the pubic bone... Even his agent said a couple of days ago that his rehabilitation is going well, but his return is still uncertain... It's been said that Szobo had this problem in Salzburg already playing with painkillers. The whole story stinks for me...
Hey guys. Just a little update or shall I say non update about Dominik's situation. He still hasn't started team training yet and Leipzig actually refuses to give any update about him. We still have no clue what his real problem is and the club's silence doesn't help either. Nagelsmann said in his press conference today that his situation is really difficult and he was unable to make any forecast on his return. According to him it will take a while... I assume we will not see him for the rest of the season and I'm afraid neither on Euro... It is still hard to believe for me that he was playing with a serious injury throughout in Salzburg so something clearly stinks here. The silence (or lack of information) from Leipzig and from Dominik's management proves that. In any case if he won't be able to play in Euro it will be a huge blow for him and certainly for our country as well. Never wished so much that he stayed in Salzburg...
